Today we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?'”

Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on Martin Luther King Day to serve their neighbors and communities.

The MLK Day of Service is a part of United We Serve, a call to service initiative. Today, ask yourself what can you do for others. You can volunteer at a local non-profit or just simply do something kind for a neighbor, friend or a complete stranger (nothing is better than a random act of kindness)!

  • I see that you used my illustration on your page, I’m flattered!

While I don’t mind you using my image at all; it’s important to me to have the image credited with the author; myself. I make a living by selling the work I do.

It’s part of a series of quotes I did on famous people. You can see more about the series here (and you can repost them if you’d like):
